We bought this mower in April 2007, a year, like every other critic, cheap plastic on / off switch broke. Fortunately, it was suggested that the critical holes in the assembly and replace the broken plastic switch with a metal screw. Worked like a charm (why not B & D in the first place?). Mower for large and medium contractors, if you let the grass is too high. But we give only one star, because it is now May 2010 and the mower does not work. The charger has a green color, which means that the battery is fully charged, but when you turn on the switch, nothing happens. We have provided services positions lawnmower in B & Q site. Warranty fatigue. We will update this review when we hear back from home. If the repair cost of over $ 100, we'll probably ditch this thing (because, reading the other comments are certainly bigger problems with pop-UPS). No other B & D products for us.
Update: We have the equipment to service ... $ 130 Bill to fix the wire switch engine. I do not remember exactly what the technician said, but something about the transition and son burned. Working fine now and see if it lasts ...
